Machinery transport can consist of a wide variety of machines. Because it is such a broad term, the equipment and services required is just as varied.
Tarping
For example: This load was originally requested to be tarped. Unfortunately, there is just no way of tarping a piece of machinery this big with so many sharp edges. Although tarps are manufactured to be quite tuff, they don’t stand up very well with sharp edges and highway speed winds blowing on them. With that being said, much of the machinery we do haul is tarped and takes a professional to tarp a load correctly. It is important to provide some protective material between the machinery edges and tarps.
Riggers
Most of the time when we are hauling machinery like this, a rigger has been hired to load unload the machinery to place inside a manufactures building for example. Because we understand the expense involved in riggers and the schedules they require, we work closely with the riggers so that our customers have no wasted expense in waiting for a truck to arrive.
